A successful first week on Wizards!

We loved meeting all of your children this week.  We got to know each other, built our team, and learned some of the routines and expectations.  This vital work lays the foundation for the next two years.  We had a great week on Wizards and we look forward to working with your students and watching them grow.  

Here are some snapshots from our first week together.

We discussed what makes a good classmate and a good teacher and found out a lot of the characteristics are the same for both

 

We drew emojis to capture our emotions on day 1 and day 4 to see how they might have changed.

We practiced our lunch routines on day 1 by eating our snack in the cafeteria.

We played games and were successful working together.

We did team-building activities like Team Tally where we learned about things we have in common.

We had our first all-school assembly as Wizards.  As a middle school, this was our first since 2019!

We did a great job greeting each other and sharing in a group.

We can tell it's going to be a great two years! We hope they are coming home and sharing with you our positive experiences.
